Seed Saving Workshop
Presented by Julia Campbell. Julia will draw on her 14 years of experience as a professional gardener to discuss why, how and when to save seeds, and will bring some examples of seed heads. We’ll also make our own seed saving envelopes. Registration is required; to sign up, please email Kathleen at director@harrisonvillagelibrary.org
Maine Author Edith Netter
The author will discuss her book The House at Schumannstrasse 7, a Holocaust survivor’s tale told in the voice of Alice Rothschild Netter, the author’s grandmother.
Quilt Raffle
The Library is celebrating our 120th anniversary this year, and in recognition of this milestone, the Chickadee Quilters of Bridgton made us a beautiful “Churn Dash” quilt that could be yours!
Book Club
Our next Book Club meeting will be Saturday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m., when we’ll discuss When the Cranes Fly South by Lisa Ridzen. New members are always welcome!
Mahjong
