The Austen Project
As part of our celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Jane Austen, we are embarking on The Austen Project–reading all six of her published novels over the next six months, and gathering to watch the film versions of the stories. Interested in joining? We’ll be starting with Sense and Sensibility in June; email Kathleen at director@harrisonvillagelibrary.org to learn more.

Book Club
Our next Book Club meeting will be Saturday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m., when we’ll discuss James by Percival Everett. New members are always welcome!

Friends of the Library News
The Friends of the Library support the library by raising money for “extras” such as museum passes and our movie license. Recently, the Friends commissioned a piece of art in memory of Marilyn Crowley, a longtime member and past president of the Friends, and art lover.
