Community Art Project
We have an outrageous goal: to get everyone in Harrison to make a an origami crane or butterfly to display in the library. The instructions and supplies are ready; please come by, spend some peaceful time during these cold days making your creature, and add to the collection!

Book Club
Our next Book Club meeting will be Saturday, April 5, at 2:00 p.m., when we’ll discuss We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson. New members are always welcome!

2024 Annual Appeal
The library receives an appropriation from the taxpayers of Harrison, but the trustees also raise raise funds to meet the demands of our operating budget.

Our logo merchandise is beautiful and useful, and makes a great gift. Stop by the library for yours!

Storytime
Storytime for Young Children is held in-person at the library each Thursday at 10:00. Join us to talk, sing, read, write and play–all the elements that help get kids ready to read!

HVL Kids: ArtWednesday
Stop by with your kids any time between 2-5:30 on Wednesdays to make art and browse books!

Book Donations
Due to our limited storage capacity, we regret we are unable to accept book donations at this time.

Friends of the Library News
The Friends of the Library support the library by raising money for “extras” such as museum passes and our movie license. Recently, the Friends commissioned a piece of art in memory of Marilyn Crowley, a longtime member and past president of the Friends, and art lover.
